Review

VLC Media Player is a multi-platform media player and open source software that allows you to play virtually all formats of video and audio over currently used.

It supports MPEG, DivX, WMV, AVI, MOV, MP4, MKV, FLV, MP3, OGG. As well as DVDs, VCDs and various stream protocols. Also, if you have some file-measures, it is also capable of reading audio and video files are incomplete.

If the interface of the application you think simple, you can modify it by the use of skins. The control of VLC Media Player can also take place via the command line, telnet or a Web browser.

	In the disadvantages, there is a mistake. "It keeps no history of the files played" - It's wrong, you have a basic history in "Media"-"recent media". It's primary, but it is a history.

	the sound quality in this player is good. the main problem in this player is opening of vlc hardware all the time..
